Parkside at Lynn is a sold-out new condo community getting ready to open its doors in North Vancouver. Located at 2517 Mountain Highway, this 220 units highrise towers are everything North Shore and Wesbrook is honoured to be the sub-contractor to build these gorgeous timber structures for Mosaic Homes.
We were contracted for installation of some very big Glulam Beams and Rafters for 4 front entry timber roofs for these beautiful new highrise condominium towers.
Each beam weighs 1,100 pounds and they are fastened to heavy duty galvanized knife plates, which themselves were secured to the concrete columns. In order to allow for a hidden gutter system, we then laid down fir tongue and groove truck decking for the feature soffit.
We then completed the remaining framing and sheeting, getting it ready for roofing membrane and metal roofing installations per its design specs. The final look is just gorgeous and magnificent!
This is 1 of 4 roofs we are completing, with the other 3 to be built in the coming weeks.
