Wesbrook is excited to start another project for our brave public servants in uniform. This time we are hired to repair and redo extensive damages at the White Rock RCMP detachment building exterior. These photos show where we are starting from and we will be posting progress updates on this page regularly.
Currently, we are demolishing all exterior sidings and gutter systems on the building. Upon the start of a demolition, we discovered the beam on the front of theĀ building was completely rotten away due to constant presence of moisture, which further aided by carpenter ants. The gutters were previously installed with no slope, so water would build up and eventually leak.
We will be installing new postsĀ and custom timber beam to support the new glass rooftop running along the front of the building entrance and walkway.
A new membrane and metal insert will be installed for the gutter with a positive slope to allow water to drain properly into the downspouts. The final phase of the project will involve the installation of the new concrete composite panel siding and soffit with a proper venting system to allow air flow.
Please check this page often to see how are progressing along with the project and we are certain the before and after comparisons will be impressive.
